Oral Presentations

One more time with uptalk:

• Practice once or twice with friends.
• Start by telling your audience what your topic is.  
• Do not recite from a text.  Put notes on one side of a 3x5 card.
• Be enthusiastic.
• Make frequent eye contact with the rest of the class. 
• Avoid PowerPoint Poison:  do not post the outline.  Feel free, however, to put photos or graphs on the class blog.
• Leave a minute for questions.
